Terms and Conditions
By placing an order, you are forming a legally binding contract with Godforest Electrical for products and services, and you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions:
Quotes & Conditions of Payment
Quotations are valid for 7 days after the date of issue. After this date, the quote is subject to approval by Godforest Electrical. Payment is required on the day of completion. Please refer to your quote / invoice for the correct payment details. Late payments may incur a surcharge.
Hourly Rate
Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm our hourly rate is 90$ including Gst.
Business hours & Call Out Fees & Minimum Charges
Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm. A Call out Fee on top of our minimum charge policy applies to any jobs outside of these hours.
Minimum Charges are 2 hours for Ceiling Fans and 1 hour for Power point and Switch installations also if we need less time at your premises
this is necessary to cover our running costs and to make sure we can deliver our service in the future .
Minimum Charges applies to all our customers.
Errors & Omissions
Godforest Electrical is not responsible for errors and omissions approved by the customer. The customer is solely responsible for errors missed during the approval process.
Property Access
It is the responsibility of the owner, property / strata manager, tenant or relevant party to enable adequate property access. A call-out fee will apply should the property be inaccessible. This includes not being at the property at the agreed time, the supply of wrong keys or swipe cards, or any other faults which hinder the electrician to perform the agreed tasks.We have a 3 strike policy that if access to the property is not possible 3 times the contract is considered finished and payment in full is to be made as per 7day Trading Terms.
Parking
If an electrician is required to park their vehicle in a parking permit area, a visitors parking permit or access to parking will be required upon arrival to the property.
Materials & Warranty
The customer will deal direct with the supplier for any warranty claims on those materials if they are to be found faulty.
Disposal of electrical appliances and other material
For any large electrical appliances, e.g. oven, stove, hotplates or rangehood or air conditioners, removal of the old unit and the packaging for the new unit is the responsibility of the owner, property / strata manager, tenant or relevant party.
The installation process often creates a reasonable quantity of dust and debris. Godforest Electrical will be responsible for cleaning up all large debris associated with the installation however the removal of dust and fine particles is the responsibility of the owner, property / strata manager, tenant or relevant party.
RCD
For fixed price installations of RCDs, repairs to pre-existing fault/s within a circuit are not included in this price. Full charges apply for the repair of these pre-existing fault/s in addition to the price for the installation of the RCDs. Power points All new power points must be on a RCD protected circuit. If your property does not have a suitable RCD protected circuit then the electrician by law will be required to install an RCD.
